International Film Festival of India to be inaugurated on 20th Nov.

All eyes are on the IFFI that is going to begin from 20th November.  The most attractive section of IFFI is the Indian Panorama that showcases the best of Indian cinema.

This time, in a first, thanks to Government stepping in, good films have found a place in IFFI without waiting for censor board certification.

But few days ahead of the festival, Malayalam film S Durga and Marathi film Nude have been pulled out and two new movies have found a place.

 S. Durga was pulled out of IFFI on the apprehension that it may be detrimental to hurting the religious sentiments of one community while Marathi film Nude could not make it to the Indian Panorama for technical reasons as the movie's post production was not yet over.

The opening film at the IFFI will be Majid Majidi film 'Beyond the Clouds'. While  the feature film section of Indian Panoroma will open the movie 'Pihu' and IFFI will see footfall of the best directors and producers from across the world.
